Our Story (part 3)

Things started, things ended
We reconciled, to be once again separated,
How could that be, how could this be
This is reality, this is my soliloquy

Was it my fault? Was it your fault?
Doesn't matter now, my hearts in revolt,
Trapped in the void I wanted to avoid
Destroying my heart, I guess you enjoyed

Scanning my memory, sapping my vitality
Sifting through vanity, accepting reality,
Hoping you’re happy with the man that replaced me
Cause he’ll never be the same as me

I’m loving life, I’m living my life
Not searching for a knife, waiting for my wife,
I’ve learned so much from you
And I want to say Thank you

Drifting through the joyous timeline
I gaze at the scorching sunshine,
It’s such an irony when something that causes gain,
Could cause so much pain

Finally, I’m at maze
Lost in these endless pathways,
I lost my way, so there I lay
‘Twas there I wanted to stay

Intoxicated with my own depression
In a state of complete stagnation,
With no premonition
I discounted remission

Deceived by my own emotion
Clinging on deception,
Losing my grip from solace
It was just a premise

As I opened my eyes from my slumber
I knew I was sober,
I nightmare of history

Of what was once ‘Our Story’

As I contemplate
Please don’t hesitate,
But I anticipate
You’ll just dissipate

But what can I do
I can never stop you,
And if that is true
I’ll have to let go of you

With this I’m chained
For the feelings remained,
Though I’m in pain
Strong I must remain

Through I core of my heart
You’ll never depart,
But deep will I bury
The things that make me dreary

There’s no more we
There’s just you and me,
Now you are free
This is me in soliloquy

The Art of my Heart

The Art of my Heart
 Wandering in uncertainty

Lost in this fantasy,
Running from the pain
Soaked in the rain

Using my body
Moving it freely,
Flowing through the pavement
In unrestricted movement

I climb and I vault
I don’t see any fault,
But this I’m guilty
I see things differently

When I fly through the air
I forget my fear,
But when I descend
The euphoria ends

Walls, benches and rails
I’ve had my fair share of fails,
But this is my passion
It sets my emotion

Vaults, Flips and Rolls
It defines my roles,
Painting a picture
This is my gesture

This is my art
It’s in my heart,
The environment is my canvass
My body is the paintbrush

When We Were Young

We as children have encountered problems
But you've been through it
We as teenagers experienced pain
But you've experienced it

When we were young
You molded us
When we grew up
You scolded us

When we were naive
You taught us
When we gained knowledge
You admonished us

When it was our day
You pampered us
Now it's your day
Give the burden to us

When you were young
You could do all those things
But now you are old
We'll take on what life brings

Once in our lives
We felt you'll always be there
But as we grow up
We feel its gonna be near

We don't want to lose you
We want to be with you
So be well and healthy
That will make us happy

You, like us, have flaws
Imperfections and mistakes
But, let's face it
Who doesn't make mistakes

I won't make it long
Cuz, today is your day
I want to greet you
A Happy Father's Day

Sunset on the Road

I just have this fascination with sunsets, so oftentimes when I go home from work, or just hanging out down at the beach that's right in front of Kids International Ministries, where I was working, I'd be watching the sun set at the back.
Whenever I see it, I just feel so relieved and burden free. Most people often take nature for granted and all the works of God displayed in it. We tend to get busy with all the activities of live that we tend to forget to live.
When I say live and talk about living, I mean it in the sense that we have to appreciate God and do what he wants, and that is to worship and glorify Him, and one way to do that is to appreciate and care for His creations, one of the many creations He has made, is our world and the beauty we see in it.
I may be weird to most people, but I count it all joy if you call me weird when I worship God through the beauty He has made.
Nature also reminds me that all we need is God and he will just take care of everything else, nature reminds me of the real priorities and the main reason we live in this world.
So, the next time you see the sunset or any other form of nature and you stand in awe of it's beauty, remember the Creator, who loved us so much, He bought us even when He already owns us just to express His love for us.

Fun Times with Friends...

San Juanico Golf Club...

A few kilometer's drive off the outskirts of Tacloban City, it's surely a sight to see, with it's wonderful landscape, it brings you closer to nature and let's you experience the majestic creations of God firsthand.

Like all of the times I go out and have fun, I have my friends to back me up...

Whether it's to laugh with me or to laugh at me...

Gab & Xandra

Here we have the inseparable, love-birds...
I've got nothing more to say about this two, so let's move on...

Yvonne, Blinken, & Joanna

Now these are the "three idiots"
Oh, I mean, the "Three Wet Ladies..."
As one of them blurted out, "Oh my! I'm Wet!"

So, we had fun at San Juanico Golf Club, eating, chatting, swimming, bonding, and most importantly, having fun...
